BLACK FRIDAY
In this project I was tasked to design Tillys Black Friday and holiday in-store assets. It started with creative for a large window display and trickled down to in-store signage. Tillys wanted to change their Black Friday signage from past years and also wanted a more elevated look.
LEVEL UP
Tillys teamed up with the High School Esports League (HSEL) to host a nation-wide event, where high school esports clubs competed against each other. I was asked to create the logo for the event that combined modern gaming elements with a retro feel. I was also responsible for designing and producing all assets which included store windows, school posters, flyers, and digital assets.
COLORADO EIGHTY-FIVE
The message in this ad encourages consumers to discover the Onitsuka Tiger brand and it’s heritage through a classic style, the Colorado Eighty-Five. Onitsuka Tiger would eventually become ASICS. If a brand has a rich heritage, it makes for a great brand play.
ASICS TECH SHEETS
An updated redesign of ASICS footwear tech-sheets were needed for 2017. Tech-sheets are educational tools for sales reps and retail partners. In designing them I wanted to make the information easy to read and understand. Studio beauty shots were the only photos of the shoes available, so it was important to design a template where the specified shoe could be placed within the layout.
TRAIL FOOTWEAR WINDOW
In creating this window, I wanted to capture the shoes in their environment. So, we set out for some local trails and shot the shoes in different locations of the trail to promote the three styles. Final execution proved effective in that sales of the trail category increased.
GEL-QUANTUM 360 WINDOW
A special edition Gel-Quantum 360 hit stores with no campaign assets created for the shoes. Armed with a concept, but little time to execute, and no time for a studio photo shoot, all that was available to work with was the product beauty shots. Photoshop can do wonders.
DEENA KASTOR POSTER
A legend in the marathon world, ASICS world-class athlete, Deena Kastor deserved a special signing poster. So, when I was asked to design one for her, I was excited for the opportunity. Photos from a past competition were treated to give a vintage feel, yet vibrant appearance like her personality.
VANS OTW TIGER PACK
Taking elements of a past campaign, I created an ad through my personal lens. This is a cross-promotional ad with hip hop artist/OTW advocate, Lupe Fiasco, and the OTW “Tiger Clash Pack”.
